Service Assurance are a team of dedicated engineers that provide expertise across the Talk Talk Telecommunications network. We serve our partners to ensure we provide a smooth and rapid repair to our customers' voice and broadband faults, whilst also providing exceptional customer service. We are a dynamic, friendly, flexible team.
Asa Broadband Assurance Engineer you'll play a key role in delivering the highest level of service to our customers. You'll be part of a team of highly skilled engineers dealing with high value voice and data customer.
You will link into all parts of the business across TalkTalk Group as well as external suppliers.
How will I add value in this role?
Support partners and Openreach engineers who are on the front line liaising directly with end users
Identify and raise incidents
Provide support on a variety of telecommunications products, for examples, voice services and broadband
Work with supplier partners developing relationships
Detailed problem and fault investigation for complex cases
Liaise with, and escalate to, external suppliers and other TalkTalk departments to ensure minimum disruption and downtime to customers
Ensure that the area of control remains ISO9001 and GDPR compliant and drive awareness and compliance through the entire span of control
What do I need in order to deliver in the role?
You'll have previous experience in a technical support role, ideally within the Telecoms/ISP space
Sound knowledge of broadband and voice related services
You'll have excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of external customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
