Desk Based Account Executive

Salford Quays, Manchester

The Desk Based Account Executive role is vital in managing Talk Talk’s existing customers with a purpose of retaining and growing revenue alongside attracting new business.

The Enterprise Desk Account Management team is responsible for retaining and driving growth within the existing Talk Talk Business Direct customer base.

To do this the team must collaborate with various other departments working towards a common goal for our customers.

How will I deliver in this role?

  • You'll retain and maximise revenues from our existing base of large spending Enterprise customers, through the selling of TalkTalk’s converged voice, data, network and security into the Enterprise arena.

  • Identify growth opportunities within your customer base and lead customer meetings to develop wallet share

  • Win new business through referrals or leads generated

  • Operate within the account from C-level down, leveraging and developing new relationships

  • Consistently achieve activity and sales targets

What will I need in order to deliver in this role?

  • You'll have strong commercial acumen

  • You'll have an understanding of revenue forecasting and attrition management.

  • You'll be able to articulate to customers the value of our commercial propositions

  • You'll have the capability to take ownership of business issues and drive through to positive conclusions

  • Correct pipeline management for current and future months

  • You'll ensure your product knowledge is constantly kept up to date
