Procurement Co-ordinator

Sound like you? We are looking for a Procurement Co-ordinator for an initial 3 month FTC. This is a brand new position to the business with the potential of a permanent position afterwards.

The Business wishes to commence an new activity to manage OpEx expenditure, the opportunity will deliver OpEx and Cash savings in year which will have a positive effect on our Cash and EBITDA targets.

You will be:

  • Contributing to the development and execution of the OpEx Committee process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of spend requests from the business units

  • Guiding all parties involved in the process regarding their individual responsibilities to provide any information to facilitate the smooth running of the OpEx Committee.  

  • Documenting all relevant procedures and processes whilst maintaining updated version-controlled records

  • Providing all administrative support required to facilitate the effective operation of the OpEx Committee including coordinating meeting schedules, preparing pre-meeting reports and tracking meeting output

  • Supporting colleagues who are unfamiliar with Procurement practice through the appropriate steps to prepare and self-manage spend requests for OpEx committee review.

  • Support, facilitate and maintain accurate recording of supplier contracts within the contracts database

  • Support stakeholders with any Procurement queries, including any support required with the P2P process

  • Ensure any savings arising from OpEx committee are accurately recorded in the Procurement tracker

The OpEx Committee will have a direct impact on profit and cash for the year, helping us to reach our targets through;

  • Better monitoring and control of costs

  • Maximising our cash position by reviewing any payment terms and cash phasing

  • Giving earlier visibility of future spend which gives us time to make the best financial decisions for TalkTalk

To deliver in this role you'll need:

  • A strong administration background, ideally with experience within a Finance or Procurement related role.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A capacity to learn
