This role is an 8 month FTC
Group Change (Change Delivery) work in partnership with the business units across TalkTalk to shape and deliver change across the group, acting as a trusted supplier of expertise and delivery excellence.
As a Senior Business Analyst you'll play a key role in the Analysis function (within Change Delivery) by driving business, process and systems analysis for projects ranging from design and development of new and innovative products to major business transformations.
You'll deliver high quality analysis in complex cross functional/multi-platform situations with the absolute minimum of supervision from a Lead or Principal Analyst.
You may also be supervising and directing the analysis activities of other analysts on the same project/programme.
How will I add value in this role?
The role is comprised of four components: delivery, stakeholder management, commercial and strategic awareness, and leadership.
You'll work with sponsors and technology shape and assess feasibility of programmes and/or projects during ShapeIt phase.
You'll devise & communicate/gain buy in to approach and plan for analysis on project during PlanIt
You'll work in partnership with business teams to understand and map current state end-to-end customer journeys and business processes in the corporate repository as well as facilitating/driving the design of target state journeys/processes and map them in the corporate repository.
You'll also work with business and technology delivery teams to capture, analyse, define and document deliverable business change requirements. Inclusive on non-functional requirements.
You'll be the person driving analysis to identify the systems and process impacts arising from agreed business requirements and translate requirements into systems functional/behavioural models (e.g Use Cases, Screen Navigations etc)
You'll work with business readiness teams to ensure impending changes are well understood for a successful implementation
You'll build a robust base of business and technology stakeholder relationships and develop an understanding of the needs of stakeholders from SME and up to Head of/Director level
You'll use your influencing skills to gain buy in to analysis approach & solutions.
Commercial and strategic awareness
You'll build an understanding of the business environment into which the project analysis will deliver
You'll be able to demonstrate an understanding of key business metrics and KPIs relevant to the project
You'll focus on the customer to ensure analysis & solutions remain true to the objective of delivering great products and services
You'll be accountable for analysis delivery of other BAs on the same project assignment or programme as well as managing contingent analysis resource, if required.
You'll also drive quality practice standards by coaching, mentoring and leading other analysts and driving analysis standards and quality improvement initiatives
What do I need in order to deliver in the role?
You'll have significant Business Analysis delivery in waterfall/iterative/agile with the ability to communicate effectively & influence at director level
You'll be able to bring structure to the ambiguous, using your exceptional problem solving skills & techniques to overcome challenges
You'll be able to demonstrate your ability to grasp abstract/new concepts quickly
If you have experience on Compliance/Regulatory projects or experience within the Telco industry, that would be beneficial
