Group Change is part of our wider Technology, Change and Security function and act as a trusted partner supplying expertise and delivery excellence to internal customers.
About the role
You will lead and line manage various ‘capability engine’ teams and leads as we continue with our existing FY21 delivery plans.
You’ll develop and execute a transformation roadmap to provide the required leanness of our internal delivery capabilities, processes and ways of working for change delivery teams. You’ll envision, communicate and deliver a transitional journey from current delivery and practices in stages toward a target ‘end-state’ operating model.
You’ll develop and deliver self-serve capabilities & processes for our line of business colleagues to adopt to run their own projects and requirements gathering - using our pre-existing change framework, tools and methods as a starting point.
You’ll assess, define and implement a business outcome KPI/OKR based method, process and integrated tooling to drive the change in moving the business needle via business outcomes.
You’ll support, grow and drive our people capabilities in term of operational performance, special forces skills and potential - both within the ‘capability engine’ and wider GC delivery organisation.
You are accountable for achieving measurable improvement outcomes within each area of the capability engine and to its different customer groups (change delivery and line of business).
You identify and track change delivery in accordance with clear business outcomes KPI's/OKR's
Build capabilities of the team as we transition towards an eventual target end state.
You bring to life the mindset and behaviours that are required to adopt lean, customer-centric approaches and a culture of high-performance.
You define standards of excellence for your area, building and leading a high performance team, taking ownership for achieving the results.
You own and steward the ‘capability engine’ enabling both GC delivery teams and line of business teams to thrive; fostering continuous learning and improvement as those capabilities evolve.
You’ll have proven experience of transformation in technology delivery models and have practical senior experience in one or more of change delivery, PMO and Business Analysis functions.
You’ll be customer focused with the ability to develop an understanding of the needs of stakeholders at different levels and work to build a broad base of stakeholder relationships.
You’ll have strong commercial and strategic awareness and knowledge of Telecoms is an advantage but by no means essential.
