About the role:
As Billing Manager, you be responsible for the management of the Calculus and Tipicall Billing platforms that provide various SIP and inbound Services to our Partners and Business. You will ensure the platform remains sustainable, reliable & accurate, maximizing revenue to the TalkTalk Group, as well as maintaining operational performance and accuracy. In addition to this you will also be a strong leader and manage the operation of the non-Technical Billing team, being responsible for Manual Billing, Cost Pricing / configuration, Partner Pricing and invoicing functions.
Our Billing Manager will be an Inbound and SIP billing subject matter expert and able to present accurate understanding to internal & external parties. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate billing of carriers and delivery of mediated calls & services to Consumer, B2B and Reseller billing platforms.
You will manage the generation of monthly cost & revenue accruals and review with finance. Other responsibilities will include; producing MI pack on Billing platform performance to senior management, managing and guiding the Calculus, Typical and Non Tech Ops team to further develop their understanding, ensuring all platforms are compliant with all relevant audit/BABT regulations, maintaining documentation on how billing/mediation works, including call flows and service products and the system itself. You will; recommend and improve changes to systems to maximize automation & effectiveness while maintaining accuracy, understand impacts of change & potential risks financially to group, look at opportunities to improve, automate and ensure accuracy of the manual Billing processes. In addition, you will manage the monitoring/clearing of rejections on all systems & act as 2nd line support for billing queries for retail billing teams (Residential/B2B/Reseller).
We are looking for a great communicator who can explain to financial & non-financial management and risks & opportunities to the business. As part of your management, you will introduce KPI’s and recommendations on efficiency of Calculus platform, Tipicall platform and manual activities. Introduce & monitor SLA’s and effective controls for all platforms. As a business we are constantly evolving and so you will move with telecoms to support new products and support project teams.
