If you are wanting to be a vital part to ensuring the operation of our Network Operations Centre. You will be graced with the responsibility of dentifying, diagnosing, managing and resolving network faults which is definitely the most important part of TalkTalk. You will be providing operational and process leadership of the incident management processes; minimising the impact of any network outage and customer downtime, to ensure a quality service to our customers.
Here is a couple of awesome day to day objectives that you'll be cracking on with:
â¢ You will be entrusted with full access to the NOC: IP Network, IPTV, Transmission and Voice networks and platforms. Your remit will included Network Monitoring, Incident Management, Incident Diagnosis and Incident Resolution.
â¢ You will be tasked with taking ownership of incidents, assessing their impact, prioritising resources and driving solutions.
â¢ You will get the opportunity to work with new and legacy industry network monitoring and management tools to detection and diagnosis incidences, to expand your knowledge of the whole NOC and drive innovation.
â¢ You will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders, from our system engineers and support staff to our multi-vendors and external partners, to ensure minimum disruption and downtime on the network.
â¢ You will be authorised to approve engineer access to TalkTalk and third party data centres.
â¢ You will be authorised to access and make changes on the live network.
â¢ You will manage the technical escalation of incidents to 3rd line support engineers.
â¢ You will ensure operational processes and procedures are followed in accordance with department guidelines and company policy.
