I initially joined TalkTalk in the Finance department. After working my way up, I was given the opportunity to move into the commercial arena.
Initially, it was just me on my own. But over time, I built up a team of over 20 people and Commercial became a significant team in the business. Soon, I’ll be embarking on another journey in the product world. I’ll be focusing on the customer experience – devices, for example, and how we innovate for the future.
I’ve been very lucky in my ten years here – each role demands different skills and I think that’s important. It’s enabling me to become more rounded, which is what I wanted from my career.

My biggest achievement was transforming the way TalkTalk sells its products. It’s about a simple portfolio, deals for new customers being available for existing customers, fixing the price of our broadband for the length of the contract… I wanted to really differentiate us from the competition. It totally changed everything and we’re reaping the benefits. It’s something I’m incredibly proud of and will be for a long time.
